In Mendoza a great quantity of capital goods and supplies are designed and manufactured: machines for the food, the oil, and the vine-growing and wine-making industries; metals, furniture, glass products, refrigeration equipment, iron alloys, tanks for the beverage industry, medicinal gases, etc.

Hydro-electrical dams which supply energy to the province with international quality standards, such as the Potrerillos Dam, have completely been designed and built in Mendoza.

The province also hosts industries of high technological development such as IMPSA, one of the largest world suppliers of capital goods for hydrological and aeolian projects; Air Liquide and Praxair, world suppliers of hellion, carbon dioxide and medicinal gases; Knauf, main world supplier of plaster boards; and the multinational Globe Metal of iron alloys.

Other industries with a good potential in the Province include the wood and furniture industry, the graphic industry, and the industries of software and communication technologies.
